Pours deep dark black with a thin tan head. The nose is cactus, honey, light chocolate, coffee, pine. The taste is high sweet at first but then massive bitter which rides through the finish. Not typical for a porter. More like an RIS. The mouthfeel is fizzy and poppin, yet has a creaminess to it. The body is heavy and the finish is long.

on tap at Urge. Pours a pitch black with a one finger tan head and some lacing. Aroma is of roasted malts, coco, coffee, soy sauce, and some bourbon booze. Taste is of roasted malts, bakers coco, coffee, molasses, dark fruits, vanilla, and some bourbon notes. Has a medium-full body with a creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, moderately bitter, medium long finish. Overall, a pretty good imp. porter that surprisingly drinkable.

Draft. Black pour no head. Aroma of milk chocolate and vanilla, some licorice as well. Nice sweet chocolate flavour with some bourbon burn and a very creamy mouthfeel, excellent beer.

chocolate oak and bourbon on the nose. Thick black, with thick creamy head. Notes of chocolate and vanilla notes, backend bourbon stickiness. Very good, big porter.
