COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer is brewed using the same malt used for Caybrew and CayLight, but three speciality malts are added – a Munich malt, crystal malt and black malt. The Munich malt and crystal malt add flavour, while the black malt gives the beer its unique dark colour, as well as adding a roasted flavour.

Not sure what they mean by bock but this is like fake lager. Amber pour. Some barley. Tastes like stowed away cash on foreign bank accounts - aka dirty. Bottle thanks to Travlr.

Can courtesy of SHIG, arrived in the mail from Alaska just ten minutes before a tasting - thank you sir! Clear light golden amber color, white head. Aroma of slightly vegetal caramel. Taste is similar.

Can. Pours clear dark amber to brown with a medium, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is toast and nutty malt, dates and figs with light earthy hops. Flavor is sweet malt, light hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

First sample was a bottle pour on the beach in Cayman, then several cans throughout the week. Brownish amber with thin disappearing head. Nose sweet and toffee malt, some minerality. Taste mild sweet, similar to nose. Minimal off flavors. Mineral finish. Not too bad for a Caribbean beer.

[Can (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry & biegaman -- c/o j&m] Pours a golden-amber with a small lasting fizzy off-white head. O.K. aroma of brown sugar, toasted malt and maybe some fruit. Flavour is malty along with some light hops. Long light bitter finish. Average bodied. One of the better beers by these guys, overall it’s O.K.

It’s a bock and it doesn’t suck - amber, no head, grassy yet sweet - meh. Oh - need to pad this out, apparently. Does not deserve more characters.

Pours a clear amber color light tan head. The smell is caramel, some fruit...fairly sweet. The taste is similar to the nose with a hint of alcohol and a crisp ending. Medium body with a a tick above carbonation that provides a tickle. Pretty decent though not complex.

2013-12-19. Crisp dark amber brown body with a small off white head. 3+ Aroma is mild, sweet malt character. Flavour is malty, light sugar notes and dark malt. Lingering sweet dark malt and light balancing bitterness. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. A bit light and thin for the style but enjoyable. Deceptively strong in alcohol given the mild nature of the alcohol on the palate. One of their best. On tap at the brewery, Grand Cayman

Drank this from the can at the Sting Ray Farm on Grand Cayman. Served way too cold. Malty sweet nose. Non descript sweet malt flavor up front. Not very complex. Some fruity esters. Complimentary. Semisweet finish. Hardly any bitterness. Not a bad beer for boosting while on vacation. And I got to play with the turtles.
