Draught, Boulder Strong Ale Fest 2008. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, cookie), with notes of apple sauce, paint, alcohol, honey. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Medium to full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation, moderately to heavily alcoholic. Undrinkable.

Draught at 6th Boulder Strong Ale Festival. Pours hazy orange with a small, fizzy, white head, diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (hay, straw, grain), average hops (flowers, herbs, grass), average yeast (earth) with notes of grape, apple, and pear. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.
