Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a light, creamy white head. Pale malt nose, some light white sugar and corn. Light to medium sweet flavor with grains, corn and hay. Light to medium in body with fine, massaging carbonation. Light hay and grain finish. OK.

Nose is smoke and earth. Pallet is malty, slight hint of smoke, cereal and light toffee. Mouthfeel is dry. A reasonable session beer, with an interesting nose which fits the name and geography of the beer.

A bit mushroomy aroma. Ditto taste. Earthy. Just about OK as a bitter, but not shining.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow tasting, thanks to Chris, 20/01/13. Clear pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, light fruit notes, toffee, hint of smoke. Taste follows. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. Drinkable but whelming - assumes the classic ’W’ formation !
