COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our dry honey wine is a big white wine. It is dominated by big honey overtones to create a real white wine with substance. Meant to pair with pork chops and strong demi-glaze sauces that other white wines can not handle. We took our New England honey (which is strong in character) and let it shine through in this wine. It wasn’t watered down or fooled around with and because of that this is as local and New England as you are going to find. The finish lasts about 10 minutes (and I can taste it up to 20 minutes after a long sip). One last thing, just to be clear. It is not your ’light crisp white from California’ this is a big white wine.

From sampler flights at Sunset Grill in Boston & Meadhall in Cambridge. Second best of the three, though it is only marginally different from the sweet. A bright, pale gold color with just a bit of haze. Grassy/flowery nose of soap & gentle white table wine. Taste is of floral honey, snappy grape tannins, rubber, & an earthy bitterness. Ugly corked/oxidized finish. Alcohol is moderate, average body. Glazed, fruity/woody finish. Not completely dry. The raspberry was better.

From bottle at Sunset Grill. Pours cloudy pale yellow with no head. Aroma is smooth fruity and slight herbal honey. Floral, dry and yet sligh fruity. Mild spiced and vague phenolic. Dry honey and slight spiced finish.
