4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a hazy pale yellow with very little thin white head. Aroma is funky and leathery...mild tartness and acidic citrus...super faint sulfur but not bad. Flavor has great barnyard funkiness...some soury acidic lemon. Mouthfeel is very light and the finish lingers with nice mild funkiness.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
(bottle) Pours out a semi-hazed light yellow color with pretty lively carbonation. Aroma is predominately funky green apple, faintly candy-like with a passing resemblance to green apple jolly-rancher. There’s also a salty, briny scent of green olive which is light in comparison to the apple scents. Wood showing up too. Taste is pretty straightforward, with plenty of tart green apple showing up and throughout the finish. A little candy-like particularly upfront. The finish really dries out and yields a good amount of oak. Overall I haven’t had many ciders, but I found this one to be very enjoyable, and I’d definitely purchase this again.

Like a lambic crossed with an electrical fire. The most phenolic beverage I have ever tasted.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
best cider i’ve tasted. it’s sour and funky, there’s something crazy going on in there. like a light apple-y lambic, bright and tart, dry and delicious. it’s light but full of flavor, mostly green apples, citrus, oak, and barnyard.

Corked bottle from your mother. Thanks!
Pours an average orange with an aroma of apples and spring air. Flavor is barnyard apple and attic must with leather accents. Freakin’ nice. Watery mouthfeel but who cares. This cider rocks. The best sour-that-isn’t-supposed-to-be-a-sour I’ve ever had. AWESOME. I’ll buy more.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
375 ml bottle. Teresa’s. Pours a slightly cloudy dark gold body with a few big bubbles of head that quickly disappeared. The nose is pretty great. Apple skins, a little caramel apple, some light funkiness. It smells very natural. Flavor is just lightly tart, a little pucker, but not crazy. Like biting into crisp green apple kind of tartness. Really bright and rather crisp. Mouthfeel is very dry, especially on the finish. Nice soft gentle carbonation, a little more than I expected, but it helps bring out the tartness better. Very very solid stuff.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Apple and pear nose, fresh and clean, with a kiss of lime. Clear yellow with a very slight greenish hue. Soft on the palate. Flavor is very distinctly lime, but just shy of being as tart as the unsweetened real thing. Still very tart though. Pear notes are in the background. Medicinal antiseptic overtones. I often find this in the so-called higher quality ciders, but to me it tastes like an infection. Certainly very unique, somewhat enjoyable if you are acclimated to sour ales and ciders. Without the bandaid quality, I could probably get into it.
