Draught sample, smallish head, opaque pitch black colour, aroma of barnyard and coffee, strong sourness a bit too agressive with citrus and pine notes, hops quite present, light body, interesting but a little unbalanced and difficult to drink.

Bottle at a blind tasting organized by beerandbeyond. Pours Black, no head. Nose: chocolate, wine. Very sweet. Smooth, uncarbonated, medium body, pretty bad.

Bottle. Black-colored with a big bubbly brown head that disappears immediately (a bit like soda foam). Roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee notes, light fruity notes and alcohol hints. Flavor is roasty, slightly sweet and slightly acidic with some coffee notes and a bit of fruity hints. Light bitterness in the finish. Light to medium-bodied, a bit watery. Decent and easy-drinking.

Pours black with brown taints with a dark brown disappearing head, aroma of nuts, dark chocolate and cocoa, flavor of charcoal, burnt wood, malt, loads of malt acids, medium bodied, nice and relatively refreshing for this style.
