we’ve packed 100 IBU’s of Cascade and Columbus hops into our Big Island Imperial Pale Ale for complex hop essence balanced by malt sweetness.It’s our most robust offering yet-an ale like a promising breeze building on the sea of the palate.

bottle 183/275 from torino at rbwg 3/5/11. hazy yellowy gold color. the aroma and flavor are dank, sweaty, citrus, stale grain and peanut butter.... weird and not so good. wow! this thing is four years old... no wonder he wanted to open it so badly!

Appearance: Hazy amber with a medium sized beige head and some lacing
Aroma: Citrus, caramel and fruits
Taste: Fruity, citrus and sweet caramel malts
Nice.

This had a nice head on it.Color was a dark amber,almost brown.Aroma was of an inviting sweet caramel apple.It tasted of a hops filled bock style beer.I think it is a hybrid of a bock and an IPA.Pretty good beer.I will buy again. Nice sticky palate.finishes somewhat sweet and dry.
