(22oz bomber, 2010 vintage, #228/275 thanks to bu11zeye) rich brown/ruby with a ring of dark tan soapy bubbles. Nose of cranberry, cherry, light wood and funk. Taste of coffee, cherry, tart, wood, fresh cranberries, and a tiny bit of bourbon. Linger of more fruit.

Bottle from bu11zeye. Reddish pour with an off-white head. Aroma is wood and sour chocolate. Taste is roasted, a little chocolate, more wood, and soured dark fruit.

Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. 2010 batch. Pours a dark ruby red color with a small beige head. Aroma is lots of wood, bourbon, dark malts, bit of roast, and maybe a hint of fruity notes. Flavor is very woody, very tart and roasted. Finishes sour. Hmm interesting.

Bottle shared during AZRBWG. #183/275. Pour is deep brown/black with a brown head. Aroma shows notes of roasted caramel, vanilla, bourbon, peanut butter, and oak. Flavor shows the same with some underlying dark fruit as well as some brown sugar. Overall body is moderate to full, creamy, and finishes with no trace of alcohol in sight.

2010 bottle number 224/275 from the brewery. Shared at a Blue Palms Blind tasting. Pours with a brown body and practically no head. Aromas of cola, wood, bourbon, currants, brown sugar and vanilla. Flavors of cream soda, brown sugar, wood, vanilla, cola and dark fruits. Light bubbles. Creamy mouthfeel. By far the best beer I have had from IBC so far.
