Our Jubilee Ale evolved from the Old Ale tradition of beers, a brewing style emphasizing rich malt flavors, caramel sweetness, and a balanced finish. The result is a beer suited for a summer picnic and yet robust enough to stand up to a stiff winter wind. Jubilee Ale makes any season a time of joy and celebration.

650 ml bottle. Cheers olio. Pours a dark amber brown colour with a small head. Aroma of nuts, bread and caramel sweetness. Flavour is very malty and nutty with sweetness, some mild chocolate notes. Light bodied and a bit thin mouthfeel. Very malty stuff indeed.

65 cl bottle.
Pours clear mahogany color with a head. Very nutty and malty aroma, some caramel and ripe fruits too. Even more nuts on the flavor, lots of bread smooth and creamy malty palate, faint chocolate and coffee also. Very easy to drink, and very bready, maybe slightly too sweet for my taste.

Hazy red - amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light with a mild minerally crispness. Smooth malts, little dry cream, touches of dark toffee and molasses. Very mild dried fruits before the semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Tasty enough malt dominant number.

This is the Island Pale Ale. Super bitter. Massive bread and malts. Pretty good. Had this on draft at island brewing taproom.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish amber with a small tan head and nice lacing. Aroma is molasses, caramel, light spices. Aroma is about the same, medium sweet, minimal bitterness, some zesty astringence. Medium body. Not bad, but not a lot going on

I’m not a big Old Ale fan because most tend to be quite sweet. This on the other hand was just a tad sweet with a nice dry finish. Got some caramel and dark fruits in this brew.

Dark amber in color with a khaki head. Opens up with bread, toffee, and toasted malt. A little bit of caramel in there as well. Mild floral and earthy hop aromas, a touch of metal to it, too. The flavor is quite sweet. Toast, caramel, toffee, and an overripe fruit note. A bit of tart prune juice, a tinge of metal on the finish. Very light hops.

Bottle. GABF Silver Medal Winner 2002 and Gold Award at LA County Fair 2003, seems like it has a little pedigree. Pours a deep copper color with a light tan head that quickly disappears and collars around the glass. Malty, biscuit, nutty, caramel, and slight spice in the nose. Overall, not a bad smell but not great. Medium mouthfeel. Taste is...not that great. Slightly roasty with a perfume like note. Backbone really falls apart mid way through the game. This has an odd sweetness to it that doesn’t work for me. Lingering bitterness. Overall, meh, had once, not need to try again.
