COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The days are shorter, the nights are colder, the stars are brighter, and the beers are bolder. Island’s Brewing Company Brewmaster Paul Wright took an abundance of roasted grains to brew a foreign style stout that sustains complex malt flavors, a prominent roasted malt finish and just enough hop bitterness to balance the big and bold flavors within this limited release edition. Enjoy the hints of chocolate, the smoky essence, as well as the bracing effects and count yourself among the privileged few.

Bottle @ ZZT X, courtesy of DutchDrebus. Pours a very dark, almost black beer with a small tanned head on top. Aroma of cinnamon, herbal, roasty. Flavor is medium sweet, big roasty characters going on. Coffee is present for sure, as well as some dark chocolate features. Very decent stout, but not too impressive.

65 cl bottle.
Pours dark red-brown color with a small off-white head. Lots of coffee and roasted malts on the nose, some cocoa and faint wooden notes also. Roasty dark malts, cocoa, dark chocolate and coffee on the flavor also, short dry and bitter malty and somewhat chocolaty aftertaste. Good balance. Quite heavy, full-bodied and very tasty, a positive surprise.
