The days are shorter, the nights are colder, the stars are brighter, and the beers are bolder. Island’s Brewing Company Brewmaster Paul Wright took an abundance of roasted grains to brew a foreign style stout that sustains complex malt flavors, a prominent roasted malt finish and just enough hop bitterness to balance the big and bold flavors within this limited release edition. Enjoy the hints of chocolate, the smoky essence, as well as the bracing effects and count yourself among the privileged few.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of roast, toffee, slight anise into some dark fruit, touch of cocoa powder, slight vanilla, slight ash as well. Taste was a mix of ash, roast, slight smoke into anise, vanilla, hints of cocoa, finishing slightly roasted, dry.
