Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is eggy, vegetably and slightly fruity. Flavour is fruity hops, some yeast and slight vegetably hints. Pleasant in the flavour, but aroma was a bit unpleasant.

Bottle from Scottish Real Ale shop. Clear golden colour, white head. Nose is dry, fairly hoppy, citric and a bit of pine. Flavour is malty, bitter hopped, citric, bit of sourness. Quite bitter and dry finish. Medium bodied. Well hopped overall, giving it a good edge.

Bottle from The Scottish Real Ale Shop. Soapy rustic malt aroma. Cloudy medium brown colour with a massive foamy head. Big strong roasted malt flavour with hint of caramel. Very lively but smooth. Some sediment.

Bottle conditioned, 50cl, from Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon. Slightly hazy gold with some yeast clumps despite careful pouring; thin ring of white head; slightly spicy yeat aroma with some citrus; sweet malty flavour with some grapefruit; a sharp bitterness develops leaving a dry tart finish. Very drinkable.

500ml bottle from Moffat Woolen Mill. A tasty brew. Pale coloured with some foamy carbonation. Yeasty notes. English hop bitterness - lacking in fragrance, but with a healthy rough rasping edge. Citric notes, and a hint of sourness that never materialises. Faint chocolate notes. Good thirst quenching ale.
