It’s a slightly hazy, dark golden beer with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of fruity hops, just like the light and crisp flavour. It has a citrussy bitterness and it’s a beer with a low ABV, but still with a lot of flavour - I like that in a beer, and it’s a refreshing and nice session beer... 2351

Bottle from The Scottish Real Ale Shop. Hazy amber brown colour, not much head. Peaty caramel aroma. Flowery metallic peaty flavour. Quite light and refreshing.

Had on cask @Lochside in Bowmore, Islay Unusual aroma of mace and white pepper off of this one. Pale brown with good head formation. A strange floral spice in the flavour, I’m not sure this is how it was supposed to taste. In good condition though.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2011 This one of the Islay ales let me a bit down. amber hazy, white foamy head. lots of fresh tasty hops. Crispy tasty and full flavoured. a wee bit watery and thin. a bit weird. taste softens as well as my stomach when the yeast is poured in the glass

Cask, Radical Road, Edinburgh. Amber and hazy. Loose head. Toasty, lightly fruity, complex aroma. Actually a bit strange - some toasty notes but also thin and grainy. Not terribly interesting. Fresh samples on Islay didn’t knock me out either.

Cask @ Radical Road. Red-orange. Not a great head. The aroma is malty with some fruity in the middle and toast at the end and stale hops as well. Clean but malty and thin. The flavors are boring, mostly malty with a watery finish. Light toast at the end is balanced with some earthy hops so it finishes dry.
