Cask at Cloisters Scottish Beer Festival. Pours clear golden amber thin white head. Light malt aromas, light grassy notes. Taste has a light sour thing going on, more light malt. Medium body, light sweet finish. OK.

Cask by handpump at Troon Beer Festival - clear straw coloured, very thin to non-existent head, very weak fruity malty aroma, bland, malty, watery, low carbonation

Light yellow and almost pilsner-ish in appearance. Loose but full almost pure white head. Almost a dilute Duvel type nose. Fizzy to carbonic in the immediate palate but this blows off relatively quickly and becomes a bit of a thirst quencher. nice firm but non assertive taste. Fairly well made. Could do with more individuality but there is potential here.

Mixed 12 set from Rakuten. Bottle. While it is listed as a bitter but it is made with pale & wheat malts. A fruity mildly spiced aroma, thick eggshell white fluffy head on a slightly cloudy mellow gold body. Nice full mouthfeel but the flavor has a bit of a bitter astringency to it. Fruity at frist, then an odd bitter flavor that leaves behind a somewhat chalky aftertaste. It is an odd tasting beer...

Scopey (7054) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2013
Cask at The Schooner Bar, Bowmore. It pours clear golden yellow with pretty much no head (not a good start). The nose is grain, dough, earth and porridge. The taste is grainy, odd sweetness, very dusty, caramel, hay, soap and chemical toilets with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Difficult to stomach. Pretty nasty really all-round, I was unable to get past a few sips.

Ljus öl med mycket jästfällning. Trevlig doft med en hel del frukt, svag, svårdefinierbar smak med på tok för bitter eftersmak. Lever inte upp till förväntningarna.

Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 1, 2012
Bottle on the ferry to Islay. Pours a yellowish golden colour with a fair white head. A malty aroma of grain, musty yeast, light lemon and pine. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Mildly bitter also.

JohnRMurdoch (3316) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUN 4, 2012
Bottle from The Scottish Real Ale Shop. Hazy amber colour, not much head. Grassy resin & tropical fruit aroma. Verr sour grassy flavour & bitter aftertaste. I think this beer is off.

Golden beer with an ok head, holds ok. Smell is decent spiced and hoppy, the taste is bitter grassy and hoppy. Not outbalanced. The soapy taste at the en is not my thing.
