Bottle @ Papsø-Grand-Tasting, September 2010. Pours unclear golden with a small white head. Citrus and caramel. Sweet malty. Medium bodied.

In bottle at home. Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of musty yeast, pineapple, hay and earth. Quite a musty flavour also with yeasty quite prominent and fairly bitter. Moderate carbonation and a chewy mouth-feel.

Bottle. Bright orange-gold with thick stable head. Aroma is gin-like with floral hop notes. Soft palate. Really lovely hoppy flavors here. the malts are richly smoky, toasty. The hops are lovely with citrus peel, bitter herbs, and dry flowers. Gorgeous!

Bottle from Scottish Reale Ale shop. Clear golden colour, white head. Nose is caramel malts, slightly hoppy, bit of rubber. Flavour is malty, fairly bitter, some bitter hops. A bit harsh. Not very pleasant.

Bottle from The Scottish Real Ale Shop. Soapy tropical fruit aroma. Hazy golden brown colour with a massive foamy head. Unbalanced biscuit malt flavour with a bitter aftertaste. Not great.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2012 smells slightly hoppy w/ a little oak. not very nice. full body but tastes like sun tea gone a bit off bitter finish. not good. i’d think it had sun strike if i hadn’t bought it at the brewery and kept it in a box.

Bottle, Rehills, Ncl. Sparkling pale gold beer, malty aroma and flavour, sweet biscuity taste with a zesty, lively carbonation. Bitter on the tongue and in the aftertaste, which is sharp and lingering. Does sweeten slightly towards the end.
