Islay Brewery, Scotland. Bottled, 260708. Amber with a very nice lasting white head. Aroma complex of fruit, citrus and toffee. Flavor with a nice balance of malty sweetness and a grapefruit sourness. Medium bitter. Best pint I had in Scotland!

berkshirejohn (4400) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2008
Bottle conditioned, 50cl, from Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon. Amber with a thick white head; fruity apricot aroma; slightly sour grapefruit flavour to start, rather like a kriek, then an explosion of intense chewy bitterness leaving a dry finish. Excellent.

Fin (7276) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2008
Bottle picked up from Westholme, Londis, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, had this 11-05-08 This has a nice bite to it, good fruitiness, some soft slightly sour apricot. Poured hazy amber in colour with a tiny white head and film of thin white bubbles, quite refreshing on a summers day.

Bottle. Cloudy bronze beer with a reasonably strong head. The aroma is slightly toffee, the flavour is very, very dry and bitter with a floral and sweet finish. Overall quite a strange beer.

Cask Aberdeen Beer festival 07 ... Golden yellow ... fruity hop nose ... grapefruit hop bitter . Ok but nothing to write home about.

leaparsons (7988) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2007
Bottle. Lightly hazy gold with a small head. Aromas are swet hay and marmalade with bitter pine hops. Quite clean and hoppy. Flavours are initially sweet citrus followed by resinous grapefruit and good bitterness. Some acidicy also which is quite addictive. A good refreshing beer.

Maria (10129) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 9, 2007
Warm, hazy amber and a huge, nice head. The aroma has notes of citrus, but sadly also barnyard, and it’s not pleasant. The same goes for the flavour, that has a light citrussy bitterness. The overall impression is totally dominated by the barnyard aroma/flavour - yikes - I hope something was wrong with this bottle...

johninmelb (1124) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2007
Well-hopped fresh nose with grapefruit and citrus. Pours cloudy with a lot of sediment visible. Mouthfeel is a little watery and thin but the flavour is bitter and crisp with a long dry finish. Slightly astringent and biting, but generally well-balanced and refreshing.
