Amber with a very nice lasting white head. Aroma complex of fruit, citrus and toffee. Flavor with a nice balance of malty sweetness and a grapefruit sourness. Medium bitter. Best pint I had in Scotland!

Bottle. Bright orange-gold with thick stable head. Aroma is gin-like with floral hop notes. Soft palate. Really lovely hoppy flavors here. the malts are richly smoky, toasty. The hops are lovely with citrus peel, bitter herbs, and dry flowers. Gorgeous!

Bottle conditioned, 50cl, from Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon. Amber with a thick white head; fruity apricot aroma; slightly sour grapefruit flavour to start, rather like a kriek, then an explosion of intense chewy bitterness leaving a dry finish. Excellent.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild peach hoppy. Mellow yeasty and peachy hops fruity flavoured. Mild bitterness and mellow yeasty finish. Nice one.

Bottle picked up from Westholme, Londis, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, had this 11-05-08 This has a nice bite to it, good fruitiness, some soft slightly sour apricot. Poured hazy amber in colour with a tiny white head and film of thin white bubbles, quite refreshing on a summers day.

Hazy golden with a big, white head. Aroma dominated by fruit, pineapple in particular, with a yeasty note. Dry and fruity flavour with a hoppy and quite bitter finish.

Cloudy golden with a huge off white head. Aroma was dry with pale malt, yeast and hoppy notes. Flavor was dry with plenty of hops, pine, grapefruit and lemons. Finished dry and bitter.

Bitterish fruity hops, sourish apple, grainy malt and electric fire in aroma.
Flavour is bitter hops and heavy grainy malt.
Bitterness is harsh but somewhat weirdly enjoyable.
Bitterness stays.
