Cask at Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. An amber beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, as well as lighter notes of nuts, leading to a dry finish. The mouthfeel is flat and I find it boring.

Cask@Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, some wooden notes as well as earth and some leathery notes. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice balance.

13th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear amber beer, no real head. Light semi dry palate - pretty flat. Some tart fruit here but not obvious - comes on the back of the tongue. Orange marmalade and a little sweet red fruit including a trace of strawberry. Finishes mildly tart with a dry finish. A decent bitter that whispers it’s merits.
