Taste as aroma, simple light flavours, no faults, caramel, soft bitter bit earthy English hops, touch of roast
Palate - Medium carb, bit fizzy, fairly light body. Finish of caramel malt, touch of roast. Finish - some slight lingering bitterness
Overall - OK - Average supermarket beer, not bad, bit better than expected

Light tan fading head with an amber/red colour. Noses of hops and malt, notes of light acidic, bitterness and sourness. Coherent beer but nothing noticeable. Finish is fast!

Average taste. Nice bitter finish. Golden hoppy colour a little washed out for the intensity of flavour.

Bottle pours a clear reddish ale with a slim but lasting white head. Aroma of caramel or toffee-like notes. Taste a nice dry mild bitterness, some citrus notes and light floralness. Pretty pleasant.

Slightly disappointing compared to the Arran Red squirrel I had as a comparison but a reasonably good ale.

500ml bottle - a decent looking reddy golden brew, thin white head, very slight carbonation. A malty nose, a rich fruitiness, and a bit of burnt sugar there too. First sip has a bit of bitter citrus, not much in the way of the hoppiness I expected, more malty and caramel if anything. Still nice, not much in the way of mouthfeel, but the first I’ve had from this brewery promises lots.
