Bottle at home. Pours clear brown, taste is soft toffee malts, crisp and refreshing.

Pours amber with good head. Sweet toffee and corn aromas, slightly musty, papery. Moderate bitterness and a bit astringent on. Medium mouthfeel and carb.

500ml bottle courtesy of Ashton McCobb. Pours clear chestnut brown, short-lived white head. Aromas of toffee... and not much else. Perhaps a light fruity note. Taste is sweet, more toffee. Finishes clean enough, but not that impressed.

Appearance - amber brown with a nice head.
Nose - toffee and breadiness.
Taste - towards caramel shortbread but not quite as intense.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish.
Overall - good session ale.

Bottle. Bronze with a medium head. Slightly sulphuric with some bitterness. Not a lot of flavour and not a particularly pleasing beer.

Amber, clear, frothy white head that dissipates to thin layer
Aroma of weetabix malts, touch of roast, caramel malts
Taste as aroma, simple light flavours, no faults, caramel, soft bitter bit earthy English hops, touch of roast
Palate - Medium carb, bit fizzy, fairly light body. Finish of caramel malt, touch of roast. Finish - some slight lingering bitterness
Overall - OK - Average supermarket beer, not bad, bit better than expected

Light tan fading head with an amber/red colour. Noses of hops and malt, notes of light acidic, bitterness and sourness. Coherent beer but nothing noticeable. Finish is fast!
