1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 RichardW (929) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2011
Bottle, Rehills, Ncl. Best beore 01.2012. What a let-down. Smells and tastes like a bad BCA. Yeasty and sour, sharp and acidic, definitely something wrong in the process of brewing/bottling and if not, then they’ve got problems.......one to contact the brewery about, methinks...
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 JohnRMurdoch (1575) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - DEC 17, 2010
Bottle from Peckhams. Sour grassy aroma. Nice medium brown colour with a good head. Very sour vegetable flavour with toasty aftertaste. I wonder if this bottle was off? Definitely a beast. Revised bottle artwork is nice.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 McGarnigle (455) - Rochester, New York, USA - SEP 19, 2010
500m ml bottle. Pours hazy orange/amber, sort of like iced tea with lemon. I got a long-lasting head out of this. Perhaps someone did squeeze lemon into it, because it’s moderately sour (sour mash, not vinegar). Beneath the sour there’s some fruitiness and a touch of smoke. Slightly bitter, dry. Low fizz, a sipper. Strange brew, but good.

Muddy orange pour. Sweet malt, fruit, kinda musty hay. Messy beer, not good.

(bottle - 500 ml) Murky copper pour with a very thin off-white head. Very malty aroma with some hints of caramel, wood, whiskey and fruit. Malty and chocolaty at the beginning of the flavor with some light wood and smoke hints near the middle. Some fruity and bitter malt notes come in through the middle with a dry and crisp finish. Some light cocoa notes as well.
2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 puboflyons (1190) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 18, 2010
No date or lot code on the bottle. The pour is a very cloudy pale orange-yellow with a big, puffy off-white head. Highly carbonated. The aroma is quite yeasty with some moderate hops thrown in for a balance. There is a soapiness about it. The mouthfeel tends to be thin to moderate. The taste takes some getting used to for me. It comes across as sour and tart with an emphasis on the yeast rather than any malts or hops. It ends on the dry side. I guess I did not like it as much as previous raters.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 marcus (4065) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 15, 2010
Bottle from Liquid Planet. Pours murky amber with a rich off-white head and a smoky aroma. The flavor is skunky smoked malt with a raunchy vegetable finish. Very disappointing.
