Wee Beast (Cuillin Beast in the UK) is a beer brewed in Scotland at the Isle Of Skye Brewery. It’s Skyes strongest ale, originally only brewed for the bottle but now available in cask. Its fruitiness, sweetness and dry caramel contradict its strength. It was won many awards in competitions and at festivals throughout the UK. In the USA it is known as "Wee Beast" in its bottled form. The taste is winey grapes, fruit, stewed dried fruit, leaves, tea, earth, hints of bread and black pepper, and a definite light hop quality. In all, it almost seems more like an English barleywine than a Scotch ale. LooseCannon (927), Norfolk, Virginia, USA

| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Sep 22, 2008 This is a wonderful wee heavy. It’s reddish brown with a thin, off-white head quickly shrinking to a thin ring. The aroma is sweet grapes and wine with brown bread, leaves, and fruit. The taste was a lot of grapes and fruit, with wine, leaves, some bread and hint of pepper with an earthy-leafy hoppiness and bitterness with even a hint of lemon. It’s very tasty and interesting, and highly drinkable. thegreenrooster (1821), St.louis, Missouri, USA

Flavor is lots of berry with some dry malts and again the vinegar. Finish leaves a sourness on the tounge. This is just ok nothing great and nothing really bad to say.
