rated 10/14/07 16.9 oz bottle: Lightly hazy amber/orange w/a lasting but thin off white head. Toffee up front, some green apple and bready malt! Clean malt flavor, lightly bitter finish with caramel throughout. Rather boring actually! Lightly toasted malt as well, and aftertates is light caramel and herbal hops. Low CO2, dry m/f, well hidden ABV. Boring but well made and seems aged a bit!

Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium red amber color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel , toffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Bitternes is malt - nutty bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. shared bottle from hopcat. pours almost brown in color with small head. smell is very alcohol/astringent. flavor is a lot of caramel, some figgy-type fruit, alcohol. tastes and feels WAY stronger than its 7%, almost disappointing. also, kind of a let down for $13/bottle.

Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-red color with a large orange-tan head. The aroma was sweet apple vinegar. The flavor was tart, bitter and tasted alot like apple vinegar. No maltiness at all. Obviously infected. I will not bother to get it again.
