Cask Stillage at the Mill At The Pier, Wigan 05/03/2005 Dark coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity with a hint of dryness in a creamy malt finish.

I got this one as a gift from Pam, the brewer at Isle of Skye, thanks Pam. It has been brewed after an old recipe from the Devanha Brewery, that no longer exists. The color is Black/brown with a nice, golden head, that leaves a good lace. the aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and a hint of licorice, but also a bit of fruits (apple peel) and a light, nice bitterness in the dry finish.
