Bottle from Green Welly Stop, Tyndrum. Light gold colour. Aroma fruity malt, vanilla, honey. Medium mouthfeel. Fruity finish with some hop. Not sure what the oatmeal adds? Maybe a little softness?

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2004
Amber ale with a smooth malty nose. Silky smooth palate, lots of grain, orchard fruit and bitter hop come forward in the finish. No oatmeal noticeable in the taste, more of a texture? (Cask @ Royal Oak, Wigan)

Bottled. Copper colour, white, fizzy but fairly creamy head. Leaves nothing behind. Butterscotch, toffee, and caramel malts. A bit of floral hoppiness in the nose. Flavour is fairly boring, slight malt, and a bit of citrus and spice. Finish is crisp but a bit bitter. A bit of fruit and honey in the nose.

Draught at the Battersea Beer Festival 2004. Fruity and slightly oaty, unsurprising as it is brewed with porridge oats. Some hoppiness picked up, but fruitiness dominates.

Pasteurised bottle. Mostly a dry best bitter, but with some slight oaty flavours floating around. Aroma has rust, a bit of co2, some caramel, vanilla and hints of drinking chocolate powder. Typical amber colour. Mostly a dull brew with a metallic finish.
