Surprisingly sweet and fruity aroma with some grainyness to it, Looks simple yet lovely. I'd say the oats show through in the flavour and probably that cask also, I'm thinking the smell of horses here... Not bad though, really. Not too sweet and has a hint of smokiness to the finish. The palate might stand to be a bit thicker though as well as the beer feels a bit oily. Maybe the oats again?

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2008 (Bottled) Clear copper with a medium, tight and lacy head. Mild, but distinctive aroma of oatmeal porridge, and some caramely maltiness. Nutty-hoppy, toffee-malty flavor with not as distinctive oatmeal as in the aroma, and a lingering, nutty bitterness in the finish. Light to medium-bodied, silky-smooth palate (due to the oat, probably), and soft carbonation. Reasonably pleasant, in a way even interesting, and very rounded and smooth - but don’t expect it to offer much excitement. (Bottled, rated in 2004, was 7-3-7-3-13=3.3) Hazy amber color, small head. Wineous, yeasty and malty aroma. Doesn’t smell like oatmeal porridge to me. Flavor is a little sweet and burned-malty with bitter finish. Medium-bodied, smooth palate - feels like weizen and ale blended fifty-fifty. Like it says, a different ale - and not bad by any means.

I had my reservations about drinking a beer made from porridge oats. These soon dissapeared when I sipped rather gently at this one. A distinctive taste with a range of complex flavours make it a difficult beer to sum up.Some fruitiness with a taste of malt. Its one you either love or hate-I loved it.

Up against light this is quite light gold. Aromas are sweet and buttery if a touch skanky. Flavours are hard to describe being fruity, oaty and very dry...but not quite. Odd, but forgotten.

The aroma is sweet fruity with notes of apricot. The color is orange and it has a fine though collapsing head. The flavor is of malts with notes of fruit; apricot and others. In the end it turns dry and slightly bitter.

Bottle. Malty aroma with cake dough and butter. Toffee. Full bodied, malty. Just a bit of pear and peach sourness. Some sweetness and a hint of glue. Otas and raisin. Lovely beer, both complex and very drinkable. A very pleasant surprise.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Lovely amber coloured beer, well conditioned with a soft fine white vale. Nutty aroma with nutty flavour, supplemented by an apricot twist. Nice even, medium palate.

Pale and thin, has a distinct hop flavour to it but that just makes it taste like a hoppy Sprite.

Bitter, no carbonation. The bartender-bitch cheated me. I hate Gulliver's pub. If anyone come across Copenhagen don't go in that place.
