Pours a gold with a thick head. Not much aroma, some frutiness. Tastes sweet with a tangy finish. Creamy palate which is just lovely. A nice beer from a very friendly brewery

Alengrin (2464) - BELGIUM - AUG 19, 2014
Blonde ale from the Isle of Skye brewed with oats. Firm and creamy, yellowish white head, colour warm orange blonde, calm sparkling, lightly misty. Subtle and rather delicate aroma of lemon, cheese, toasted bread, oatmeal porridge, cream, walnuts and grassy hops. Rounded fruitiness in the mouth, fresh citrus touch, spicy hoppiness with a tonic water-like quality too it without becoming harsh, long finish. Enjoyable.

Notes from trip to Scotland summer 2014. Bottle. Pours amber-gold with a big frothy head settling to a nice rim on top of the beer. The aroma is fuity and yeasty, with a malt backbeat. The taste is malty and grainy, with some spice coming through in the second wave, followed by a long bitter aftertaste. Not a bad a beer at all, but rather full in the mouth and thus quite filling.

On tap. Rated as "Eilean-̉r". Smooth fresh beginning. Malt, fresh and crisp, probably a bit too cold. Hints of grain, slightly sweet. The aftertaste is a bit watery, refreshing, nice!
