2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle / cafe bar Kyle of Lochalsh. Nothing special about this Scottish Ale. No hoppyness on the nose as one might expect but where is the round maltiness, the hints of sweet molasses. I’ve had this in draught and was happy to have a second, but they’ve butchered the heart out of this beer. It didn’t help having it served cold out of a fridge in the Kyle of Lochalsh. Just shouldn’t be chilled. Anyway dissapointed, and see that there putting their effort in the newly branded label. Concentrate on the taste guys!

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Very boring. But ok. Booty, with some dark berry mild bitterness. 50 milds by the end of the year. There’s a challenge. Better get sourcing. I need 1 a week. Sounds tough.
