Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, strawberry, berry sweet, light roasted and caramel malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, berry sweet tart. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110102]

From 500ml bottle at tasting with Jan & Charlotte on 2 January 2011. Reddish colour. Not entirely sure what rowanberries taste like but, although distinctly fruity it’s not easy to pin down. Pleasantly palatable but a bit too restrained all round.

Bottle. Hazy brown with an off white bubbly head. Aromas are raspberry with some herbal notes. Base burnt toffee with some plummy, bready notes. Flavours are cola and chocolate with dark berries and some metal. Dry on the finish. OK.

blue blazer ... copper ... creamy off white head ... soft creamy fruit nose... soft body little tart almost but not quite sour fruit ... quite crisp and clean ... with a light malt backbone ...
