Bottled, 0.33l. Slightly hazy golden color with small frothy white head and lively bubbles. Aroma of biscuit malt, grassy hops, fruits, mainly banana and mild smell of disinfectant. Taste starts sweet malty, then followed refreshingly grainy and fruity, but finished crisp, dry and mildly bitter. Light body, slick texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Expected disappointment, but found some good qualities in it...

Bottle from a supermarket in Los Boliches, Spain. Clear pale golden beer with almost no head. Cardboard and vegetable aroma, gun powder, bready, malty, some grainy notes. Cardboard flavor, bready, paper notes. Quite awful.

From the metal bottle. Nose is almost nothing. Kind of a faint metal smell. No head or lacing whatsoever. Taste is grass or hay thin mouthfeel. Kind of dry and bitter finish, meh!

Clear golden coulour with a small off white head, fair lacings. Aroma is malt, caramel, biscuit and light hay accentuated, not a lot of floral hoppyness or liggt yeast esters going on as you would expect for the style. Carbonation is light lively, a bit slick textue and a medium body offer mainly sweet flavour notes reminiscent of cramale malts and biscuit, just a light earthy, herbal hop bitter profile develops, which when prepped up would actually enhance this beer. Medium lasting finish, drinkable but not really to the norm of what you would expect.

Dorada orina. Sin nada de espuma. Sin nada de burbuja. Aroma a miel dulce. Sin fuerza en boca. Tono dulzón. Miel. Aguada. Floja. Para aquellos que se beben lo que sea en Ibiza.

Alu-bottle from Del Haize, Walferdange. Light gold, darker than expected, light white head. Malt-driven aroma, caramel and biscuit, a bit too sweet, no fruity yeast character that I’d associated with a hybrid. Medium carbonation, easy drinking. Toasty and sweet, digestive biscuits, some light noble hops. Not unpleasant, by any means.

Clear golden color, thin white head. Aroma of malt, hops, citrus, strange fruitiness. Taste is more on the sweet side, very malty with some caramel touches, slightly buttery and again that strange fruitiness. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Drinkable for sure but not something I would rush do drink again.

330 ml printed aluminum bottle bought at Cheers in Yuen Long.

Translucent dull golden colour; Razor thin head and soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Very small sticky lacing and minimal small carbonation; Sweet aroma of malt, dull prunes and dark fruits, faint caramel, strong sugar and light yeast; Medium to light sweet taste of light lager malt, with faint dark fruits, molasses notes, light wet cardboard, soggy bread, wood, light earth, very light lemon and faint grass; Light body. Thin and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is very dull light lager base. The Koelsch elements are very light and uninspiring - light pitted prunes, dull earthy hops, and worst, traces of wet papers. Very low-fi throughout and, quite boring to get through. Duh!... Hoppiness is no nose. Very light lemon, dull earth, and faint grass taste. Bitterness is low, for a lasting, low astringent but sweet and woody finish; Slightly dry after taste. Easy to mouth.

Comments: Just don’t understand why these guys picked such a style to represent Ibiza. As a Koelsch, this is pretty poorly-made and below standard, its smells and taste dull, hops are woody but low on bitterness. Drinking this makes me depressed. There should be better beers than this in in Ibiza, right?
