Sampled on draft at Rogue Public House, Portland. Pours slightly cloudy gold with a lasting white head and nice lacing. Aroma is mild and floral. It’s flavor is herbal/medicinal with some honey. Quite spicy. Medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Too strange to be a regular drinker but worth trying.

Oct 7, 2008 Draught @ Brewer’s on the Bay, Newport, OR. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a sweetish floral chamomile aroma. Sweetish malty chamomile flavor with some floral honey hints. Sweetish malty chamomile finish.

Sep 27, 2008 Pours hazy crazy copper - straw with white head. The aroma is bold sugar sweet malts and chamomile tea. Smells syrupy really. IT gets near to but doesn’t achieve a pepper sensation. The taste is smooth and sugar sweet with mild malts and chamomile backed by a honey and hard candy goodness. Wow, very tasty.

Sep 10, 2008 Bottle, at BA Throwdown #2. Not sure how old this is, but it’s definitely got some age on it. Golden red color, creamy head and lacing. Huge spicy cinnamon notes, chamomile, nutmeg, brown sugar, and hops. Chamomile flavors, cinnamon, some nutmeg and allspice. Smooth, has a lot of age and lacks a sharp bitterness. Good though, despite its flaws.

Jul 4, 2008 Draft at Rogue in Newport as Rogue Chamomellow. A dark golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and chamomile. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chamomile - almost too much, leading to a lightly dry and bitter finish. A mixture of a chamomile tea and beer.

Mar 10, 2008 Had on draft at the Public House. Hazy golden color. Smelled WONDERFUL. All chamomile and tea. Taste was similar. tasted like a sweetened ice tea with chamomile.
