COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This special coffee stout includes NAFTA approved, organic, shade grown coffee beans from Costa Rica, Indonesia, and Ethiopia roasted by the brewmaster at local coffee roaster Red Twig in Edmonds, Wa. Hints of your morning cup are evident in the aroma, flavor and finish of this breakfast beer (but not just for breakfast). 14 degrees plato, 35 IBUs, 6% ABV

GABF 2006. black maple pour. tan head. coffee, chocolate, apple and oak aroma. veyr mild. fruity and sugary.

Same as the Eugene City Coffee Stout. This was a really nice, big coffee stout. Pours black with a medium tan head. Tons of rich coffee in the aroma, not overly roasty, but a nice sweet ground coffee smell. Taste had a big blast of fresh coffee. It was nice because it didn’t have the overly roasty, big bitterness that many coffee stouts had, this one relied on more of a sweeter, smoother taste. Medium body, with a nice trailing coffee ground taste. Oh yah, and try this mixed with the rogue chocolate stout for an amazing after-dinner beer.
