CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 5, 2007 Pours a clear, golden bronze with a nicely-lacing white head. Aroma of bready Belgian yeast and some sweet pale maltiness and coriander. Starts lightly pale malty and sweet with a nice balance of coriander spice and black peppery yeast. Exhibits pretty good balance and authenticity. A nice abbey tripel. hopscotch (4579), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Feb 14, 2007 Bottle.... Hazy, light golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. The complex nose is spicy and woodsy with lots of grain, coriander phenols and bread... lightly acidic. The flavor is woodsy with moderate pungency, lightly sweet with mild spiciness (coriander phenols). Medium to full-bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes grainy, tangy and dry.
