Tasting Notes: “Aromas of coriander and orange spice dominate the nose. A very light mouthfeel is countered with sweet orange peel, coriander and subtle notes of chamomile. It finishes with delicate banana and clove spices. Surprisingly light and immediately quaffable.” 13 Ingredients: Malts: Pilsen. Hops: Sterling. Yeast & Water:Flaked Oats, Flaked Rye, Coriander, Sweet Orange Peel, Nutmeg, Chamomile, Cinnamon, Ginger, Water and Belgian Witbier Yeast.

West USA trip 2010. Tasted at Pike St. Beer & Wine. Many thanks. The aroma is citric with coriander and yeast. Hazy, yellow coloured beer with a white head. The taste is citric, yeasty and spicy again. Refreshing and dry. Nice witbier.

Pours hazy blond with a small white head. Smell is light fluffy coriander, clove, and a faint hint of citrus. Taste is somewhat spicy, leathery mouthfeel, sticky. Not my favorite Wit.

I’m not a huge fan of Belgian beers but this one was mild enough on the cloves I didn’t mind it. Light golden color and a nice citrus finish.

Location: Draft at Rogue SF, 5/12/11

Aroma: This one has a nose made up of wheat and spice components
Appearance: The pour is a cloudy yellow color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is spice and wheat, like the nose, with a little bit of citrus too
Palate: The body is fairly medium, with a decent mouthfeel and texture to it
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a solid Belgian white with a decent spice presence and a solid body. Not a bad offering at all.

Bottle @ home. Cloudy, yellow-orange-light brown appearance with a white head. Ginger, coriander, orange peel, spicy, yeasty, wheat malty nose. Interesting flavor: cinnamon, ginger, coriander, orange peel, other spices, Belgian yeasty flavor. Slightly spicy aftertaste. Certainly an interesting idea adding cinnamon to a witbier. Pretty good.

Mild aroma. Cloudy appearance with small white head. Full mouthfeel. Coriander is the main taste but it isn’t overpowering. Full of wheat and orange and malty notes. Good witbier!

The subtle hints of ginger, wheat, flowers, make the aroma of this beer one of a kind. Also apparent in the taste, i would define this beer as a spiced witbier, compared to new belgium’s mothership wit. Of the two, I like this one BETTER

Not bad. Was expecting more flavor from the fruits but it still was a decent beer

22. Pours a hazy medium burnished orange with a surging and dense platinum blond head that does not stick around. Big sharp orange and coriander nose...out of balance and a bit disconcerting, really. A little funk in there as well. Creamy medium body with bright fizzy carb. Oranges, coriander, laundryish funk, and a sharp dryness on the mid-palate. Maybe most of the right pieces, but not really in the right combination.

Tap @ Brewforia: Cloudy unfiltered pumpin-yellow color. Light aroma of yeast and mild bananas with a little spice and citrus. Very tasty and refreshing with notes of bread and autumn spices. Thin feel and easy to drink.

On tap at Brewforia, Meridian, ID. Tulip glass, cloudy light yellowish beige with a full and lasting off-white head. Very fair aroma of light bready notes and spice. Flavors of wheat malts, coriander, allspice and a little bubblegum. Very light and faint, definately a training wheels wit. Kind of what I expected from a domsticly produced Wit. Still, drinkable and easy to like if not very interesting or bold.
