Mar 2015 - "320+5ml" bottle. Clear reddy brown, lightly sparkling, small head doesn’t endure at all. Aroma is damp, slightly sour, maybe some coffee bean but very toned down. Body is medium, low-ish carbonation, foamy. Taste is sweet malts, like a thinner and less sweet version of ’Malta’. (1.6) I also tried the peach version, which is unrateable and is similar but has a pleasant peachiness to it. I would have given it (2.4). Neither are beers really.

Sigmund (5571) - Tau, NORWAY - MAR 3, 2015
Shared 320 ml bottle at local tasting, thanks to Holmen1. Brown colour, low off-white head. Unpleasant aroma of unfermented wort, wet cardboard and damp basement. Thin body. Flavour of unfermented diluted wort, but not as sweet as I feared. Hardly any noticeable hops. Oh well, a new "beer" country for me ...

Shared bottle at RB/HD home at OGJ 03.03.15. Very pale and clear nutty brown. Exeptionally quickly disappearing off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and malt extract. Overly sweet taste, also with chocolate. Sodaish.

Nytt og eksotisk land! På hytta i vinterferien, kjøpt på iransk butikk i Rantzausgade. Vammel, søtlig lukt av råtnende frukt. Klar dyp farge med filmskum. Vørterøl smaker bedre enn dette.

320 ml. bottle. Thanks Gabriel. Pours a clear golden red with a small beige head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Taste is malt and apples (I think). Very sweet. Ugh.

Iran! Had a lot of different ’beers’ in Iran i.e. non alcoholic malt beverages. If you think of them as sodas with malt taste you won’t be disappointed. Of all the flavors I tried in liked the peach one best! Perfect with a falafel sandwich. Taste is generally a thin malt body with fruit flavor added. Apparently it is popular for Iranians to buy the non alcohol malt version and add baking yeast to make their own brew :). Istak and Heyday are available almost everywhere. I tried : lemon, peach, melon, pomegranate, malt and grape. Melon was weiiiird. :)

Appearance: Copper brown, clear. Minimal fizzy head that disappears so quickly it is hard to determine its colour. Heisenberg would agree.
Aroma: Malt, fruit house. Sweetness.
Taste: Fruit juice of the bad kind. Malt, get the cereal. Sweet. Pretty bad.
Bought: Trade with Erzengel - thanks!, 320 ml
