2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
witaminowy smak. syrop na kaszel i nieco mdlawej owocowosci, wyczuwalem brzoskwinie oraz miod. Kolor miodowy, z niewielka piana. Wysycenie prawie zadne, no i innych ciekawych spostrzezen sie nie doszukalem. Tp bezalkoholowe piwo jest dla mnie traktowane tylko jak egzotyczne doswiadczenie.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Going step by step up the ladder of top beers from Iran raters. One more left in the stash. But let’s talk about this beauty, brought, of course, by Krešo (huge thanks!), and produced (at least this 0.33l can) in the middle of Iranian Kurdish lands - Sanandaj. Brownish-amber body with a fine white head. Dry malty aroma, caramel. Caramel taste, but slightly sourish, which actually helps the drinkability. Can be drunk.

1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle from Pars Supermarket, Hagley Road, Birmingham. Having previously found and rated the Istak Lemon - which wasn’t allowed as it was both non-alcoholic and fruit flavoured (in hindsight that’s fair enough as otherwise we’ll have Vimto added to the site) I was ’pleased’ to find the malt variety. Poured it into a BrewDog stem glass in the hope it would improve the experience. This is reddish brown and quite dark - darker than apple juice - and flat, of course. Smells exactly like the dustbin lorries that collect the overripe fruit from Leicester market. They’ve somehow bottled that experience. Tastes worse than I remember Laziza tasting (Lebanon’s very own malt beverage) - an initial blast of overly sweet malt and can’t-quite-place-it stale fruitiness - then gone before I’ve swallowed. Why do I put myself through this? It brings up 80 countries - that’s why.

Brownish with an off white head. Light fruity and malty aroma. Sweet, light fruity and a thin body. But not the usual wort aroma and flavour. Drinkable.
