Nytt og eksotisk land! På hytta i vinterferien, kjøpt på iransk butikk i Rantzausgade. Vammel, søtlig lukt av råtnende frukt. Klar dyp farge med filmskum. Vørterøl smaker bedre enn dette.

320 ml. bottle. Thanks Gabriel. Pours a clear golden red with a small beige head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Taste is malt and apples (I think). Very sweet. Ugh.

Iran! Had a lot of different ’beers’ in Iran i.e. non alcoholic malt beverages. If you think of them as sodas with malt taste you won’t be disappointed. Of all the flavors I tried in liked the peach one best! Perfect with a falafel sandwich. Taste is generally a thin malt body with fruit flavor added. Apparently it is popular for Iranians to buy the non alcohol malt version and add baking yeast to make their own brew :). Istak and Heyday are available almost everywhere. I tried : lemon, peach, melon, pomegranate, malt and grape. Melon was weiiiird. :)

Appearance: Copper brown, clear. Minimal fizzy head that disappears so quickly it is hard to determine its colour. Heisenberg would agree.
Aroma: Malt, fruit house. Sweetness.
Taste: Fruit juice of the bad kind. Malt, get the cereal. Sweet. Pretty bad.
Bought: Trade with Erzengel - thanks!, 320 ml

320 ml bottle. Thanks rosenbergh. Pours a dark copper cola colour with a small head. Aroma is very, very bready, raw and grainy. Flavour of grainy bready mess, wort, some sourness, very strong sugary sweetness and off-flavours. Light bodied and very watery mouthfeel. Horrible. I’d rather drink water.

32 cl bottle. Thanks rosenbergh!
Pours dark golden color with a small head. Very malty and bready aroma, quite disturbing at that, some glue and earth. Flavor is quite awful, bready, malty, slightly spicy and earthy mess. Sweet slick palate.

320 ml bottle. BB 15/07/14. From kevnic2008. Thanks Mariusz for this country tick!
Clear copper colour with a tiny white head. Bread, cardboard and sweetness in a rather gross aroma. The flavour is bread, some shortbread and berries. Bad indeed. Sweet.

Flaska hemma, tack Per. Bernstensfärgad öl med ett litet beiget huvud. Luktar malt och brunt socker. Smakar malt och sött sliskigt sirapsbröd. Inte alls god, kunde funka som tillsats i matbröd kanske..
