1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Sevenlee (539) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - JAN 19, 2011
UPDATED: APR 17, 2012 The same boring dull yellow colour as most Brazilian macro beers with a fizzy head which is short lived. Aroma is basically the same as regular Itaipava but a tiny bit more hoppy. Taste is almost the same watery forgetfulness as the regular but has a bit more sweet malt. Overall forgettable, slightly better than the regular Itaipava but still pretty bad. Skip
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - SEP 10, 2009
Thanks to dm9831 for sharing this. It poured a very pale yellow body with a creamy head and provided spotty lacing. The aroma was almost air, just of minute whiff of generic sweetness. It was a tad bit watery. The flavor has a pale malt sweetness with a musty/dusty feeling to it. The finish was musty and sweet, with the wateryness cutting the latter. Actually, fairly drinkable as a lawnmower beer.

clear yellow-gold, a touch darker than the premium version, medium white head, some lace. musty malt nose, mild and airy. flavor is a sweetish malty flavor with leathery musty tones, also fairly mild. medium body, sweet malty finish. a nice change from light lagers, but still pretty unexciting. sampled in a bottle at Andarilho by Ley in Campinas, SP, Brasil.

Cerveja normal brasileira. Boa drinkabilidade. Espuma e coloação normal. Quase sem cheiro. A garrafa é bacana.

Bottle 350ml. Pale yellow color, a nice white head, just a simple pale lager, nothing special, no bitterness or hoppy flavor. Good to a hot day only.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jalichio999 (502) - BRAZIL - APR 10, 2008
Abril/2008. Garrafa, 350 ml.
