Cask conditioned handpump Adelphi Leeds 24/07/12. An amber coloured beer with a tight white head and lacing. A biscuity beer with light hop notes. Fairly dry. Mostly sweet; certainly not an APA as claimed on the pumpclip.

Cask @ The Windsor Castle. Medium amber color with a creamy white head. The nose is faint sugary breakfast cereal, some toffee and strawberry. Not particularly engaging. The taste is more caramel malts, light watery fruit and bread. Medium body, soft. Fairly standard.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Handpull at The Blackfriar. Clear amber-gold with a tiny frothy head. Odd aroma - grassy, overripe mango for days. Taste- oh my, is that right? - spoilt fruit and paint thinner - not at all nice. Average body, slick, low carbonation and a long harsh varsol finish. Not even slightly good.

On tap @ the Haymarket. Pours a dark golden colour with a nice head. The nose has grass, maybe lemon on the end. The taste is of coffee grinds, cream and more coffee on the end. The palate is drying and lacking bitterness. Overall, too coffee for me but it grows!
