Cask at the Magpie & Crown, presumably this is Itchen Valley’s jubilee jest, as the pump clip shows Charlie looking bitter indeed! For all that, it’s a rather tasty English bitter, well up to the brewery’s usual standards. A nive biscuity nose leads to a fruity, malty body with a good balance of grassy and citrus hops.
