laiti (1714) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 16, 2011
Cask @ O’Connell’s Irish Pub
Aroma is rather light with some bready malt and hints of gastric acid. Flavour is sweetish with toffee, bready malt and hints of caramel. Flavour is also omewhat tart and acidic, which is not usual for a real ale. Dry and leathery palate. Decent, probably I had the rest of the cask since this was rather low on flavours and high on tartness.

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Pours a fuzzy, copper-orange with hints of a creamy head. All caramel, bread and toffee on the nose. Decent flavor, lots of buttery toffee, dough, mild citrus fruits, faint bitterness. Light to medium in body with very fine carbonation. Medium or light sweet finish, maple syrup, mild drying, some understated, leafy hops. A good beer.

(Cask at Bree Louise, London) A bit more roastier bitter. Flavour was nicely balanced. Drinkability was really good as it usually is with bitters. Bitterness was too low.
