Cask @ Wenlock Arms with Magic Dave6 and Mes. Caramel colored. Nuts caramel and biscuit flavors and similar aroma. I was sure that this was a brown ale. I found it rather refreshing and easy drinking.

My first beer at the Wenlock and probably not the best beer there on the day. Thought it may have been a nut brown ale but obviously I was wrong.

Deep amber colour. Plenty of hops, fruit and malt in good balance. Maybe a hint of sulphur in the aroma. Medium bodied. A very tasty strong bitter. Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival 2005.
