Clear gold, medium white rocky head; wonderful aroma of oranges, apricots and pine fresh hops; taste is tropical fruit, bitter grapefruit; it’s let down by a too-sharp woody bitterness; if only it tasted as good as it smelt.

Hand pulled cask at the Moon & Sixpence (JDW ) Hatch End. Amber with a white head. Amazingly well hopped for this brewery, astringently so but plenty of resinous New World quality and a massive step in the right direction.
