Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012, Reading, Berkshire England.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt, fruity, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120504]

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, honeylike and mild crispy notes. Flavour is biscuits, fruits, some floral and mild nutty notes. Sweet fruity and floral aftertaste.

Cask, The Pub, Leicester. Golden brown with an off white head. Aromas are caramel and biscuit with apple and pear. Earthy with yeast and lemon. Flavours are toast malts with mellow lemon and earthy, leafy hops. Quite herbal and spicy on the finish. Not bad.

Cask at The Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Gold with a thin white head; aroma of sour apples; honeyed sweetness at first, then some sharp apple flavours with a doughy body; followed by some fresh, leafy hops giving a gentle bitterness with perhaps a hint of ginger.
