Cask@The Market Porter. Noticabel diacetyl characters. Buttery caramel flavours, with a slight sour edge. Lightly spicy notes towards the finish, otherwise not much happening.

downender (4389) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2010
Cask-conditioned at the JDW inside Victoria Station, London 28/12/10. Amber with a slight white head. Sweetish, malty aroma with a hint of spicy hop. Flavour was seriously dull, with some caramel and a vague fruitiness, before a moderately bitter finish. A forgettable brown beer.

Handpulled cask at JDW Hatch End. Amber with a white head. Biscuity malt and restrained english hops. A very ordinary bitter with no festive attributes whatsoever.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (291206)
