Cask at lescar, sheffield. Black with tan lace. Interesting aroma, liquorice and dark fruit. Sweet and tart with a subtle bitterness. A bit thin (especially considering it’s marketed as an impy stout), and slight carbonation.

Stouts are always powerful & only for sturdy men (& sturdy feminists). This drink was really more of a Russian ’Nuclear’ Winter - plenty of bite and strength. Best enjoyed after downing a shot of vodka.
