duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Oct 18, 2005 Cask@St Albans Beer Festival. NOt too bad, i found it to have a salight gingery character. Sweetish to start, with some soft bitterness in thew finish. Not too bad. harrisoni (5307), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 3, 2005 Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Reddish copper colour, nice fruity malt, some good hop. Yes good best bitter TBone (5113), Pori, Finland Dec 18, 2004 Cask conditioined
Copper brown, small brownish head. Sweet, hoppy nose with molasses. Nicely balanced English hops in the mouthfeel, a bit spicey. Body is a bit thin which on the other hand makes this to a nice session beer. Mes_and_Sim (4465), Highgate, Greater London, England Jul 20, 2008 A Sim rate (cask at JDW): Not much to the aroma. Tiny bit of hops. Tiny bit of malt. Simple as that. Very standard ale colour. Flavour is bitter with a hit of hops. Dry, malty and so, so standard. Palate is watery to the max. Boring, boring, boring. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Dec 3, 2005 Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Festival, October 2005. Deep, rich copper colour. Aroma is muted, with some soft malt. Dry, with a crystal malt autumnal feel and some earthy hops. Decent.
