Cask@St Albans Beer Festival. NOt too bad, i found it to have a salight gingery character. Sweetish to start, with some soft bitterness in thew finish. Not too bad.

Cask conditioined
Copper brown, small brownish head. Sweet, hoppy nose with molasses. Nicely balanced English hops in the mouthfeel, a bit spicey. Body is a bit thin which on the other hand makes this to a nice session beer.

A Sim rate (cask at JDW): Not much to the aroma. Tiny bit of hops. Tiny bit of malt. Simple as that. Very standard ale colour. Flavour is bitter with a hit of hops. Dry, malty and so, so standard. Palate is watery to the max. Boring, boring, boring.

Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Festival, October 2005. Deep, rich copper colour. Aroma is muted, with some soft malt. Dry, with a crystal malt autumnal feel and some earthy hops. Decent.
