COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

Pour is a light golden color, with a quickly diminishing white head. Nose is of apricots, go figure right? Taste is sweet, and very peach and apricot like, very little of the wheat from the name present. Very light on the tongue and a very refreshing beer overall.

The aroma was somewhat off putting, smelling of either a jolly rancher or one-a-day gummy vitamin. The taste was alright, but all in all not one I would go back for seconds for.

Look this is my not one of my favorite styles of beer. It is much more reminiscent of a wine cooler then beer. But if you like that this is great. Pours golden with a tie bubble, white head that poured over the glass. Aroma is sweet, fruity and crisp. They say mild fruit I said medium fruit mild wheat. Over all good beer for the style.

A: Clear golden color with a minimal white head that fades fast... S: Apricot stands out... its not too pungent and is pleasant, but the beer lacks any other character in the nose... T: Apricot lends a nice flavor to the subtle malty sweetness... again depth is lacking... M: Smooth and crisp... refreshing feel... O: This beer suffers from a lack of depth, and this hurts an otherwise refreshing beer...

Bottle from Half Time. Pours slightly hazy gold with a foamy white head. Mild apricot aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is a bit sharp - suggesting citrus or perhaps unripe fruit. Apricot is the flavor, but it’s not all heavy like the one from Pyramid. Finishes towards dry and tart.

12oz bottle. Slightly hazy golden pour with very little head. This is the first apricot wheat I have ever tried and is likely my last. This one is not that great but the to be fair I doubt I would like any of them out there. I prefer my beer to taste like beer not some kind of fruit punch concoction.

THOUGHTS: Nothing too special. Mostly apricot. Might have been a little old, too. Seemed more sour than it should have been. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, medium to dark yellow with excellent carbonation and an average, off-white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was mostly apricot and maybe a little wheat. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, moderately acidic; slightly bitter and lightly sour; while the finish was slightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter and light to moderately bitter with a fairly short duration. There was apricot, some yeast, some wheat, and some fairly sour fruit. The light to medium body was dry with tingly carbonation and a lightly astringent and slightly chalky finish.
