The apricot flavor goes really well with the wheat taste. Lacking complexity though. Wheaty and fruity taste with no hop character. jthomas (1), Washington DC, Washington DC, USA does not count | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 9, 2008 12 oz. Bottle poured into a glass. Aroma mostly consists of apricots. Appearance is light golden orange with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Flavor consists of sweet apricots flavor and banana but mostly the apricots. The finish is the same. Light body with the carbonation being a little fizzy. thedm (3834), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 31, 2007 This draft brew from the Ale House beer bar in Johnson City NY poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent very softly carbonated orange colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malty and apricot. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of apricot malt and wheat. An OK brew just nothing special. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 24, 2007 Appearance: Pours a clear, light golden body with a small, fizzy white head. Lightly effervescent.
Smell: Perfumy aroma of apricot-flavored bubblegum and malted wheat.
Taste: Juicy apricots and wheat malts with a modest sweetness. A slight bitterness before the abrupt finish. That’s it, folks.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Fizzy carbonation.
Drinkability: One of those beers that’s just not for me. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 22, 2007 Pours a clear deep golden with a spotty-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of sweet sugary apricots and a touch of pale malt. Body starts effervescent and semi-sweet with an earthy, citric apricot flavor and finishes thinner, drier and slightly buttery. Needs a fuller, sweeter body. It has the smell of flavored water; you know that fake chemicalish apricot smell. The color was nice, not much of a head. The flavor matched the chemical apricot/peach and overpowered anythign else. There’s a touch of wheat in the background and I couldn’t sense any hops anywhere. I think Ithaca would be well served to drop this from their line-up goldtwins (4079), Nesconset, New York, USA

Sweat and fruity. If you like fruity beers you will probably like this one. Nothing wrong with it other than not something I can drink much of
