Commercial Description:
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

This draft brew from the Ale House beer bar in Johnson City NY poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent very softly carbonated orange colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malty and apricot. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of apricot malt and wheat. An OK brew just nothing special.

Appearance: Pours a clear, light golden body with a small, fizzy white head. Lightly effervescent. Smell: Perfumy aroma of apricot-flavored bubblegum and malted wheat. Taste: Juicy apricots and wheat malts with a modest sweetness. A slight bitterness before the abrupt finish. That’s it, folks. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Fizzy carbonation. Drinkability: One of those beers that’s just not for me.

Pours a clear deep golden with a spotty-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of sweet sugary apricots and a touch of pale malt. Body starts effervescent and semi-sweet with an earthy, citric apricot flavor and finishes thinner, drier and slightly buttery. Needs a fuller, sweeter body.

This beer was terrible...so bad it made me sign up for this site. It has the smell of flavored water; you know that fake chemicalish apricot smell. The color was nice, not much of a head. The flavor matched the chemical apricot/peach and overpowered anythign else. There’s a touch of wheat in the background and I couldn’t sense any hops anywhere. I think Ithaca would be well served to drop this from their line-up

Poured a clear pale yellow color with an off-white head. Big apricot aroma and flavor. Sweat and fruity. If you like fruity beers you will probably like this one. Nothing wrong with it other than not something I can drink much of

On tap. Skanky fruit jelly aroma. Pungent and of compost. Pours a hazed gold with some white head. Flavor is an overly tangy, piquant biting fake apricot flavor. There’s some sickly sweet malt, but not really any character or significance. Finishes with a note of too old peaches. Not good.
