Commercial Description:
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

Draft. Not much more than slightly sour apricot soda. Thin bodied, which Ithaca likes to call "easy drinking", but I’m not having anything of it. This stuff is difficult to drink. Theres not much of a head and hardly any lacing. Theres a bubbly carbonation to it but a medicinal aftertaste.

At the risk of being made fun of, I actually like this beer. Apricot aroma almost overwhelms, body is fuller than you would expect, and a really nice unbalanced fruit flavor. I think this beer has its place in the summertime.

This beer pours a clear orange color with no head at all. There is a strong smell of apricot that you pick up the instant you pour it. As you drink it there is not much of a flavor it is very bland. It is mildly sweet and kind of tart mostly from the fruits.

This beer has a bit of a sweet syrup aprocot aroma but when it hits the mouthfeel it turns around nicely....the finish get a bit disjointed. The moouthfeel is not bad and overall I was hoping for more.

Bottle. Thanks to TomDecapolis. Poured a pale golden body with nice head. Aroma is of ripe apricot, grainy. Flavor is somewhat off flavor of apricots, grains, wheat. This one really did not please me, but the apricots almost made this decent. Not the beer for me.

Pours a a lightly hazy golden yellow with a medium creamy white head and left some spotty lacing. Aroma of apricot jam, some wheat and cereal grains. Flavor of fresh apricots, Cheerios, just some very light hop flavor and just a touch of bitterness. Apricot aroma and flavor came across as natural. Freshing beer and as a fan of Apricot as a fruit I kind of enjoyed this one. Maybe it’s the warm spring evening talking...but 3.2 for a fruit based wheat beer rates on the high side for me. But I’m enjoying it.

knew it was a mistake...but wasn’t. the aroma on my bottle (dated march) was really good! apricot and authentic. although that’s fairly easy as apricot pairs well in beer. i like the taste, and it fades nicely. the carbonation is low but it works well. i can’t find where to drop it down to a 2.9 so i won’t!

Pours a slightly hazy copper with mostly diminishing white head that fades to a spotty film. Smells like a womens hair-care product that was meant to smell as authenticly fruity as possible. Tastes like carbonated pedialite. I feel silly drinking it. The appricot comes through much more in the aftertaste than the intial taste, but fades quickly because of it’s thin and watery. I could see myself drinking this on a hot day doing yard-work, but certainly not for my own enjoyment in the comfort of an air-conditioned house. A little weak.
