COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

Pale yellow, white head, very slight haze. Mild apricot aroma, some wheat underneath. Flavor is a little fruity with some overall graininess. Light to medium body. Not impressive in the least.

Pours a sickly pale yellow - it’s about the most unattractive beer I’ve laid eyes on. Aroma is sweet and fruity, wheat undertones play a very small part in the aroma. Light and fizzy feel. Flavor is light and fruity. Not a whole lot of hops or malt in this one. Dry finish.

Pale golden color out of the bottle with a fizzy white head. Sticky sweet apricot jam aroma. Jolly Rancher candy flavor of apricot with orange juice. The fruit flavor over powers the beer. Not the worst fruit beer, but not great either.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2008 [draft - The Elmwood Inn - Rochester, NY] Medium amber color with a thin white head and decent carbonation. Very fruity and inviting apricot aroma. Not as overpoweringly sweet as the aroma would lead you to believe. Very nicely balanced wheat and apricot flavor with a nice sweet finish and a pleasant sweetness in the aftertaste.

Pleasant, fruity - not too artificial aroma. Cloudy, light orange appearance with a quickly fading white head - no lacing. Flavor is pleasantly sweet with some apricot notes that taste pretty fresh. Slightly thin mouthfeel - feels more like a cider - not enough carbonation. Would make a palatable summer refresher but would not want more than one in a sitting - slightly cloying.

Terrible label, hazy greenish gold beer. Nice apricot icecream aroma. One of the blandest fruit beers that I've ever had – subdued tart apricot flavor, not sweet, not hoppy with the slightest bit of dry malt. Thin, watery, undercarbonated with quick grassy finish. I'm usually charitable to fruit beers but this was really unremarkable.

I'm going to cut to the crap on this one. WHen they say just a hint of apricot, they are full of shit. This is an apricot wine-cooler. This seriously rivals Pete's strawberry blonde.

Apricot skins, slight acidic. Nice hops and sweet. Cloudy light amber with no head. Med light body w/high carb. Semi-dry fruity taste. Low malts & hops. Light bitter fruity-tart finish & after.

Clear, light gold. White head. Syrupy, apricot aroma. Light, fizzy feel. Spritzy apricot flavour w/ some creamy, honey-ish notes.

very light yellow too much apricot flavor for my liking, I don't respond well to fruit beers and to work the flavor must be subtle - this is not.
