An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

Bottle via Rich and served in pint glass: Poured a slightly hazed wit like golden color with a fading fizzy head, minimal lace. The aroma has notes of syrupy apricot, biscuity malt, and just a smack of grassy bitter notes. The taste is not very good with a bland apricot flavor over an equally bland wheaty and pale malt background. Again, there is just a note of grassy character on the finish. Finally a bit of acidic tartness does show, but not in time to save the experiance. The feel is chalky and watery. I will pass on the rest.

This wasn’t bad. Probably a little over carbonated. Hint of apricot on the aroma and taste. Nothing special but I could and did drink a lot of it.

Golden body with quickly dissipating white head. Cloudy, golden yellow body. Aroma of apricot. Quick taste of apricot on the tip of the tongue, but quickly becomes just another wheat beer.

Smells and tastes of apricot say some. Others say the smell is there but the fruit flavor is AWOL. I’m of two minds on this beer. I see it as a cheaper version of Magic Hat’s #9.

Bottle: Hazy golden body, no head. Aroma is big time apricots. Flavor is the same. Not much here other than a dominating apricot flavor. Ok I guess.

A decent brew. The apricot essence is most evident in the background and aftertaste. Very lightly colored and hazy. Smells very sweet, but taste is not overpoweringly sweet. A decent brew that is somewhat underrated here.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with jah noth, thanks Dan!) As someone who loves dried apricots, this is a pretty decent example of the kind of apricot beer I enjoy. It’s a pretty light flavored beer, but the tart apricot easily dominates the beer. Sweetness and hops bitterness are kept to a minimum, and wheat flavor is definitely pretty far in the background. The nose is all tart apricot to me. Carbonation is a bit much, and each sip is somewhat expansive inside the mouth. Otherwise, the body is light, and the carbonation and tartness keep the palate refreshed for the entire session. Hazy, pale straw body is topped by a very tall and bubbly white head. There is no lacing on the glass, and the head gradually settles to a wide ring. Overall, not a bad apricot beer at all, though I wish it was a bit more flavorful.

12 oz bottle from sampler 12-pack, sampled in a hotel room near Buffalo, NY. Lightly hazy dim gold with a touch of head...fresh, clean but simple fruity nose...sour wheat overwhelms slight fruitiness in the body, leading to a somewhat metallic, bitter finish.

Not a bad beer! Pours a nice hazy yellow with a decent frothy head. Apricots all over the place. A delightful aroma. Faint maltiness in the flavor, but the first thing you notice is of course the apricots. A nice quenching beer in my opinion.

Bottled. This is very different!!! Aroma is of apricots. The head pours nice & thick and stays for awhile. Great mouthfeel. First sip is apricots, and then the wheat finishes. Just as advertised!! Perfect in hot weather, at a barbeque. I usually drink dark lagers, and dunkels, but this is nice for something different. I will defainately buy this again.
