COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with jah noth, thanks Dan!) As someone who loves dried apricots, this is a pretty decent example of the kind of apricot beer I enjoy. It’s a pretty light flavored beer, but the tart apricot easily dominates the beer. Sweetness and hops bitterness are kept to a minimum, and wheat flavor is definitely pretty far in the background. The nose is all tart apricot to me. Carbonation is a bit much, and each sip is somewhat expansive inside the mouth. Otherwise, the body is light, and the carbonation and tartness keep the palate refreshed for the entire session. Hazy, pale straw body is topped by a very tall and bubbly white head. There is no lacing on the glass, and the head gradually settles to a wide ring. Overall, not a bad apricot beer at all, though I wish it was a bit more flavorful.

12 oz bottle from sampler 12-pack, sampled in a hotel room near Buffalo, NY. Lightly hazy dim gold with a touch of head...fresh, clean but simple fruity nose...sour wheat overwhelms slight fruitiness in the body, leading to a somewhat metallic, bitter finish.

Not a bad beer! Pours a nice hazy yellow with a decent frothy head. Apricots all over the place. A delightful aroma. Faint maltiness in the flavor, but the first thing you notice is of course the apricots. A nice quenching beer in my opinion.

Bottled. This is very different!!! Aroma is of apricots. The head pours nice & thick and stays for awhile. Great mouthfeel. First sip is apricots, and then the wheat finishes. Just as advertised!! Perfect in hot weather, at a barbeque. I usually drink dark lagers, and dunkels, but this is nice for something different. I will defainately buy this again.

Cloudy, yellow with a short, frothy head, this beer smells amazing. Unfortunately, it does not at all live up to its promise when you taste it. A very weak, standard American wheat with an almost untraceable apricot essence, no aftertaste to speak of. Only a bit of sourness up front. Very disappointing.

Aroma of apricots. Taste of apricots. On top of a wheat beer. Very smooth and sweet. Refreshing summer beer with nice carbonation probably best drunk cold and quick.

Had at Rohrbach’s summer beer fest. Well it tasted and smelled like apricots! Very light and good for a summer day!

On tap at MacGregors in henrietta. Golden color with no head. Aroma is all apricot. Sweet. Very easy to drink. Refreshing. Apricot flavor seems too strong to be real.

Very Creamy, fruity beer, with a strong vanilla aftertaste. Very refreshing, lightly carbed and nice lace finish.

Overwhelming apricot flavor. Probably best drank ice cold, as it warmed it exposed nothing. Not bad, but far from special.
